The move is to accommodate more families, with the dates falling in the school holidays, and to make the most of the summer weather, though the weather has been kind on Electric Fields the last few years.
One of our favourite things about Electric Fields is the consideration they take into their festival, from the crowd limit to the well thought out festival map, great eating outlets, and even the fact they let you pay for your ticket in monthly instalments if you book far enough in advance.
Over the years Electric Fields has played host to some huge artists, as well as showcasing some of the most exciting up and coming and critically acclaimed acts around, with the likes of Noel Gallagher, Frightened Rabbit, Primal Scream, Dizzee Rascal, The Charlatans, Leftfield, Arab Strap, James, Young Fathers, Teenage Fanclub, Band of Horses, Public Service Broadcasting, Idlewild, Kate Tempest, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Steve Mason, The Twilight Sad, Ezra Furman, Idles, King Creosote, Ghostpoet, The Coral, Honeyblood, Songhoy Blues, Fatherson and hundreds more all performing for the EF faithful since 2014.
Adult Early Bird Tickets for the 2019 edition start at £110 for the whole 3 days, but they won’t be around for long!
Tickets will be available for purchase via the Electric Fields website.
